Sought After Sourdough - The sourdough trend is hangin’ strong and we’re totally on the bandwagon. In September, we’re paying a little extra attention to our sourdough offerings. We currently have positions open for bread production (kneading and shaping the bread), drivers (delivering the bread) and counter associates (selling the bread - smiles required). If you’re looking to join a team that works together and has a good time doing it while providing quality products with customer-focused service, we’d love to talk to you. PRODUCTION POSITION (early morning) - Shifts begin at 2am. Full or part-time positions open. Candidates should be punctual, reliable and team players. We will train you in the art of making bread from scratch and you’ll leave every day with a sense of accomplishment. No experience required, we train! APPLY NOW

DRIVER POSITION (morning) - Responsibilities include transporting bread to our retail locations and servicing wholesale accounts. Part time, morning hours with shifts Monday thru Saturday. COUNTER ASSOCIATE (afternoons & SATURDAYS) - If you’re easy to work with, a quick learner, enjoy being busy and providing service with a smile, please apply! We train and work in a team environment. Breadsmith is a locally owned bakery celebrating over 28 years in the Sioux Falls area with four neighborhood locations. Breadsmith makes bread and sweets from scratch six days a week. Employees take home a free loaf of bread after every shift!

We invite you to visit one of our four area locations to meet our friendly team members and enjoy a complimentary sample of our fresh, scratch made artisan breads and sweets. 

Breadsmith uses the highest quality ingredients to create hand-crafted breads made from scratch and baked fresh daily. Our French Baguette, Sourdough, Chocolate Babka, Pumpkin Bread and others have given simple pleasures to our customers since 1997.

Breadsmith has a strong focus on taste and freshness; that’s why all the bread in our bakery is baked fresh each day. Our dough is never frozen and our breads are baked in a six-ton, stone-hearth oven imported from Europe. We also make a wide range of cookies, muffins and sweets.

Breadsmith supports local organizations with fundraisers and special events, and at the end of each day we donate our unsold bread to those in need. If you know of a charitable organization that could benefit from our service, please let us know.
